Previously on Survivor, hundreds of castaways have taken flight, set sail and gone for a ride to some of the most exotic and remote destinations around the world. From the picturesque beaches of Fiji to the challenging environment of French Polynesia, you can experience five of the filming locations where your most favorite (and most loathed) contestants fought for the title of Sole Survivor.

French Polynesia

French Polynesia
  • A remote island getaway, season four’s Marquesas Islands is only accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicles thanks to its treacherous roads and rustic landscape. But don’t let that deter you from grabbing your Buff and living out your Survivor dreams; Nuku Hiva is the largest of the Marquesas Islands and is the perfect escape for hikers and waterfall enthusiasts. If you prefer cultural experiences check out the island’s capital, Taiohae, for fishing, drinking and traditional Roman Catholic church services. How to get there: Norwegian Cruise Line has an incredible 14-day cruise that starts in Hawaii and includes a visit to the world’s third-largest waterfall, located on Nuku Hiva.

Thailand

Thailand
  • Get away from the crowds and take your Thailand adventure to Ko Tarutao, the setting of Survivor season five and the largest of the 51 islands in Tarutao National Marine Park. Located within the park are the grounds of an abandoned prison, reformatory center and cemetery which visitors can freely roam amongst the abundant flora and fauna that are reclaiming the land. Another popular tourist spot is the Jorakae Crocodile Cave where tourists take a small boat up the river passing by limestone cliffs and mangrove swamps along the way to the entrance of a large well-lit cave. How to get there: Hop on this adventure cruise with Intrepid Travel where you’ll discover the best of the Andaman Sea.

Samoa

Samoa
  • Upolu, Samoa definitely seems like one of the show’s favorite filming locations; it was featured in seasons 19, 20, 23 and 24. With sprawling beaches and crystal clear lagoons, this island is totally Instagrammable. Best of all, a day trip to notable Survivor filming locations such as the tribe campsite and Papase’ea Sliding Rocks is only a few hours from the city center. How to get there: Adventures Abroad offers an epic 24 day guided boat trip through the Rock Islands and more.

Guatemala

Guatemala
  • Super fans will recognize Yaxha, a Mayan archeological site with thought provoking pyramids and temple shrines that also happened to act as the campsite of Survivor: Guatemala. Tour the grounds and try your hand at spying potential hiding spots for hidden immunity idols amongst historical sites like the Twin Pyramid Complex and the Palace Ball Court. How to get there: Book a package to Guatemala City with United Vacations and add the El Mirador and Yaxha Tour from Guatemala City – it’s a two day, one night excursion that takes you to the site via helicopter.

Fiji

Fiji
  • Home to seasons 33-40, Host Jeff Probst loves filming on Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands so much that he bought a second home there. Dotted with rocky volcanos, lush treetops, white sand beaches and overwater bungalows, the Mamanuca Islands are the perfect retreat for your tribe. How to get there: Blue Sky Tours offers a number of hotel and activity packages in Fiji including local attractions like Navua River and Rainbow Reef.
